TMJ Disorders
Many people suffer from TMJ Disorders, causing painful headaches, stiff jaw muscles or sensative teeth. This can be a result of clenching (brixism), grinding, or both. Without treatment, teeth may become worn down or cracked, and muscles become inflamed and stiff.
In order to terat this condition, we may suggest the following:
- A Night Guard: Protects teeth from wear and fractures. it will also reduce the bite force by up to 85%!
- Bite Adjustment: Balances the occlusal plane to allow for an even bite with less “slide”.
- Botox: Relaxes the muscles that chew or clench, providing relief from tension.
